It had taken two years to get this far, he guessed he could wait a little longer.
“Can’t be much longer,” Joe Constanza, his attorney said practically in his ear.
Mark ran a hand through his shoulder length light brown hair. He received a shock as static electricity sparked from the fine strands. It was drier than the Mojave Desert both inside and out of the courthouse. Florida was experienceing one of its dry spells. Lake Ochechobee was down a good fifteen feet by now. If they didn’t get rain soon, more than just watering restrictions would have to be put in place.
